You have up to 24 months to complete all the modules from the date you have registered.
- You must first pay a registration fee (see https://educred.org/educred-courses/). This fee covers the cost to register you on the international database and for us to respond to employers, students and parents. You will then receive an Educred ID number, which allows you to access and book.
- You must then pay to complete all the modules shown at https://educred.org/educred-courses/. This webpage provides the charge for each module.
If you do not pass a module, you can simply rebook and retake it as many times as needed. However, all modules must be passed within the 24-month timeframe.
The refresher course provides you with important legal updates, so you can remain aware and compliant. Your refresher course will normally take place every 12 months after you receive your Educred certificate.
Failure to complete annual refresher course will lead to your registration being forfeited, and you will be flagged as non-compliant.
Yes, you can book and take the modules in any order that fits your schedule.
You should normally register with Educred before you start working in your educator or management role. Once registered, you are allowed to work for up to two years whilst you complete the Educred course.
Crediting your working hours ensures that you meet the practical experience requirements for your Educred qualification.
Only on-time work hours will be credited toward your accumulated working hours. Hours missed due to lateness will not count toward the Educred qualification.
Outside of the working hours needed to qualify (whereby your employer provides proof of your working hours), the Educred program is not related to your employment. If you leave your organisation while enrolled in the Educred qualification course, you may continue with your studies independently.
